This model, unusual in an era dominated by streaming, responds to licensing agreements that predate the launch of Paramount+, which has led to confusion among fans. Although previous seasons are on Peacock, the latest one is not yet included on that platform. The coexistence of content between Peacock and Paramount+ for different franchise products, such as the prequels 1883 and 1923, illustrates a complex distribution landscape.
